We want our guests to feel at home away from home during your vacation. In doing so, we ak that you treat our home as if it were your own. Please be respectful of the property and neighbors so we can continue to share our love of the home and island with our incredible guests! -No smoking inside the home. If you smoke outside, please dispose of your buds in the proper trash bin. Do not throw buds in the yard, hot tub, picnic grill or anywhere on the property. -Absolutely No partying. While we do allow guests to book if they are 18 or older, we do not allow parties. I live across the street and any violation of this rule will result in immediate cancellation of your stay without refund and you will be responsible for any damages. We show respect by allowing younger aged groups, please show the home respect back so we can continue to open our home to all aged guests. -Quiet Hours for the island are between 10pm-7am. Please be respectful of our island and neighbors. -Please dispose of and dog waste on the property in the outdoor trash bin so that we can continue to keep the home pet friendly as well as keeping the yard clean for other guests, kids and pets. -When returning from the beach, rinse all sand off with the outdoor hose and dry pff before entering the home. Sand will clog shower drains causing septic issues. -Hot tub: Please close the cover and strap when not in use. Our island is windy and hot tub covers will blow off if not secured. NO BUBBLE BATH IN HOT TUB, this will damage the jets and system. -Do not flush anything other than toilet paper down the toilet. The home has a private septic tank that will overflow even if "flushable" wipes end up there. -We are dog Friendly only, no cats or other pets but please only bring dogs are are well trained, outside potty trained and not "mat trained" as we found this leads to accidents on rugs and carpets. Maximum of 2 dogs unless approved by host. Additional pets approved will be $150 per additional pet. Unauthorized pets will be a $500 fee. -Do not leave pets unattended in the home without a crate. Sometimes while on vacation our furry friends get separation anxiety from their families. The island is VERY dog friendly, please make arrangements for them to be with you or bring a crate for their and the homes protection. -No pets on furniture. If you cannot keep your pet off the couches or beds please bring large sheets from home to cover the furniture, laundering pet hair out of fabrics between guests is incredibly difficult. -We live on an island. This means you will see some unwanted creepy crawlies during your stay which could include but is not limited to: mosquitos, lizards, flies, water bugs ant and even roaches. These are all water loving creatures and found in and around every home on the island. We have the home treated by pest control quarterly which does keep them all at bay but you may some resilient ones hanging around. -If booking during hurricane season we highly suggest you purchase travel insurance especially if you book during hurricane season April-November. Policies are very affordable and cover yur family for a variety of trip related issues. We do not offer refunds for hurricanes in hurricane season. -Please keep the home clean. Our cleaner works very hard to sanitize the home between guests and a standard clean can take the full 7 hour window between guests to prepare the home for the next guests. Our cleaning fee is for a standard clean, not a deep clean. Please tidy after yourselves. Our cleaner does charge additional fees if the hoe shows evidence of partying, excessive garbage left in the home or furniture moved throughout the home. We ask you to please be respectful of our home as we strive to have a beautifully maintained and clean home for your vacation.
