Our stay was magical! The house was clean and comfortable and exactly as described. The beach views from the many decks was breathtaking. The town was very cute and we frequented Waves Market and Deli, which has the best sandwiches and burritos. Dawn was so accommodating and sweet. We cannot wait to return! Thank you so much for a memorable vacation!!

We absolutely loved our stay! Dawn’s place had everything we needed - full kitchen with the essentials, big fridge. Bathroom even had extras of basically anything you may have forgotten toiletries wise. I thought the packaged fresh towels was a lovely touch. The place is also handicap friendly with a ramp, wide doors and a bench in the shower and as a nurse, I thought that was an amazing feature and a rarity to find. There was even a heating pad in the nightstand. The location was perfect, mere 3 minute walk to the beach. It was peaceful, and the sunsets amazing. Location was perfect as it was in the middle of all things we wanted to do both north and further south of the island. Plus this being dog friendly, I got to bring my golden and he rated this place 5/5 paws. Very responsive to all messages and just overall just genuine, good people to rent a room from. We cannot wait to go back and stay again!

Daen and Jesse's place is in a perfect location in Rodanthe , twenty minutes from avon and anything you could want. Many coffee shops and restaurants nearby as well as basic amenities at local general stores. Dawn and Jesse are very responsive, helpful and super accommodating. I would definitely stay here again with my family.

We had a wonderful stay and loved the pool and views of the bay. The sunsets were beautiful.
The house was great and exactly as presented. We felt right at home!

We really enjoyed staying at Shell of a Time. The amenities are so well thought out and the book for local dining and all things OBX was exceptional. Great trip!! Thank you for being such a great host!!!

Stayed here for a weekend baby moon with the wife and dogs. Great place and super close to the beach! The dogs loved being able to walk to the beach and run around in the sand. Dawn was very responsive and gave great recommendations. Would recommend to anyone wanting to have a great Outer Banks vacation!

Dawn and team were very responsive with our questions. We had issue with hot tub, which was quickly resolved. We enjoyed the hot tub before we left. It had a great appointed kitchen, great for cooking. The beds were super comfortable! The neighborhood was peaceful. The wraparound balconies were unexpected plus. Each bedroom was able to access a balcony. What a treat! It truly was also a short walk to the beach.

We had the most perfect family getaway here! The house was right on the beach, just steps from the ocean, with beautiful views the entire stay. It was spacious, very clean, and had everything we needed to feel comfortable and relaxed. The host was incredibly nice, responsive, and helpful with recommendations during our trip. We would absolutely stay here again!

We really enjoyed our stay at Dawns rental! The house was very spacious and very clean. It was kid friendly which was a huge plus for us! The area was super quiet and super close to the beach. We definitely plan on booking with Dawn again! 🙂

Lovd our stay at Grace place. Visited in off season and loved the peacefulness. Short walk to the beach. It was a little cool and windy for Sunbathing on the beach, but had perfect weather one day to walk the beach (rained first 2 days of our stay, but out 3rd day was perfect.) Loved relaxing in the hot tub after sight seeing during the days and exploring Kill DevilHills down to Salvo.
